British chef and restaurateur Jamie Oliver has launched a new interactive cooking series called “Veggie Boost,” on Walmart’s “Walmart Cookshop.” Oliver says Veggie Boost, “Is all about me, working really hard for you, to help you get more veggies into your diet in a fun, exciting, and most importantly delicious way.”
The first episode of Veggie Boost released November 16 “Super Tasty Seasonal Sides,” and includes interactivity such as selecting your goals and ingredient choices throughout.
Oliver has long been associated with healthy eating, creating the Feed Me Better campaign back in 2005 to introduce schoolchildren to healthy foods. His 2010 TED Talk about the same subject earned him the 2010 TED Prize.
Walmart’s Cookshop also includes interactive recipe creation from other celebrity chefs like Ree Drummond (Pioneer Woman) and Patti Labelle cooking up one of her famous pies.
