Pumpkin Cheesecake Protein Shake

This pumpkin cheesecake protein shake uses pudding mix and pumpkin puree to create a delicious and simple protein shake.   My pumpkin cheesecake protein shake tastes like you're drinking a decadent dessert, when in fact it's low calorie and protein packed.  The pudding mix powder mixes with the protein powder to create an extra creamy and thick shake, without more calorie dense ingredients.

Not only is this shake delicious, but it packs 125% of your daily value of Vitamin A, and 20% of your daily value for calcium.  Feel free to boost the calcium if needed by swapping the water for milk, or adding in 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.

While I love Devotion Nutrition's Angel Food Cake Flavor protein powder, any protein powder should work. PEScience's vanilla, cake pop or snickerdoodle would be equally delicious.  For the flavoring/extract, vanilla is fine. However, if you can find the Watkins Cream Cheese Flavor at Walmart or the LorAnn Cream Cheese Emulsion use that instead. You'll be glad you did!  As for the pudding mix, I use Jello-O's Sugar Free, Fat Free cheesecake mix. It is sold at most grocery stores, including Walmart. If you can't find it, Amazon offers it as well here.

If you don't have a scale, the 28g of protein powder is equivalent to 1 scoop of your favorite.  The 2 tbsp of pudding mix is approximately 1 serving or 1/4 of the box of pudding mix.  If you're looking for a blender, you can't go wrong with any by Vitamix or Nutribullet.
